Hero Fixes & UI Polishing – June 24 Update

"To master the battlefield, one must first master clarity."

This week's deployment focuses on fortifying the game's core mechanics. These adjustments ensure that the tools of war—your Heroes, your interface, and your reconnaissance—operate with the discipline and consistency you expect.

Hero Vision Abilities – Precision Restored

Reports from the field noted inconsistencies in how vision-enhancing skills were applied during movement and territorial transitions. These have now been addressed to ensure consistent battlefield awareness.

  • Tatiana's "On the Prowl":

    • Her Vision Range Boost now activates correctly only when within enemy territory.
    • Crossing into friendly territory while moving no longer causes unintended unit revelations.
    • Whether in motion or at rest, visibility is now consistent with her range enhancement.
  • Fiona "Maeve" Porter's "Eyes of the Homeland":

    • Her enhanced Vision Bonus now functions seamlessly both while moving and stationary, offering commanders persistent clarity in home territory.
  • Command Intent Going Forward:

    • Heroes with vision-based skills now consistently reveal units within their extended range, regardless of movement.
    • All visual feedback now reflects the actual fog-of-war state, ensuring greater reliability in tactical planning.

Army Details – Clear Compositions

An error previously occurred when inspecting a mixed force containing Johan "Aardvark" Maes alongside a Trench. This prevented commanders from reviewing key tactical details.

  • This misfire has been corrected. Army Details now open without issue for all unit combinations, allowing you to assess your formations with confidence.

Unit Panels – Cleaner Displays

Certain units such as Trenches displayed an empty “Daily Costs” field, leading to visual clutter and confusion.

  • This section now appears only when relevant, ensuring that each unit’s info panel is concise and informative.

These refinements aim to keep your campaigns running smoothly and your focus on the strategy ahead. Thank you for standing with us, and for continuing to provide the reports that help steer improvements from the front.

Hold your lines. Watch the horizon. Victory favors the vigilant.
