World Cup Event Takes the Field
The whistle is about to blow, Commanders. From June 11th to July 14th, Call of War will celebrate the 2026 World Cup! Expect national colors, fresh operations, and a fitting event map scheduled for the occasion.
During the World Cup, players will be able to:
- Acquire a Collectible Avatar featuring the flags of countries participating in the 2026 World Cup.
- Make progress in Operation Flagstorm and earn rewards along the way.
This celebration gives Commanders a fitting battlefield to contest. Whether you are advancing quickly across the field or are holding a defensive line close to your capital - the World Cup Event is your chance to show your allegiance and fly your colours high and mighty.
Warbonds Speed Up Actions Receive Cost Adjustment
This tuesday’s update also introduced a balance change for Warbonds. Speed up actions taken with Warbonds received a 10% cost increase.
Speed up actions are among the strongest options available through Warbonds. They can have a major impact on unit timing and economic output - making them the primary option to snowball games in your favour. Because of that, we want their cost to better reflect their power compared to other Warbonds actions.
This is a moderate adjustment rather than a major overhaul. The goal is to encourage more varied Warbonds use, especially for actions that are currently used less often. We will continue to monitor the impact of this change and make further adjustments if needed.

We also fixed a mobile UI issue involving the Pin button. On some mobile devices, the Pin button could be hidden behind other menu elements, making it harder to access.
To solve this, we adjusted the sidebar buttons on mobile. This makes the layout more consistent and ensures that key controls are visible and accessible again.
The Pin function is a powerful tool for keeping track of important units and provinces. As the fighting grows more intense and frontlines stretch across the map, pinning key locations can help you stay focused on what matters most. Use it to keep a clear overview when the map turns chaotic.
