Silent Nightfall is in full swing! The long requested Marines have arrived in Call of War - alongside a new 75 player world map and the festive Christmas Crates. And if that’s still not joyous enough, a new 8x speedmap is scheduled for this weekend!
Marines
Marines aren’t standard infantry - they’re shock troops built for coastal landings, river crossings and hard-hitting offensives, but they need smart timing and support to survive enemy artillery and air.
Use them for rapid pushes once a bridgehead is secured, ideally in numbers to keep momentum.
Marines come via Unit Cards with three upgrade levels (available on days 1/3/6), culminating in full land stealth at Level 3 and stronger all-around combat performance.
Marines are now available in the game! You can deploy them in any map created after the update. Watch for Christmas Crates to get Marines Unit Cards - then strike fast, seize the shore, and hold until reinforcements arrive.
New Map
A brand new map is joining the Call of War map rotation - Smallworld.
As the name implies, Smallworld is a compact re-imagination of the classic “World at War” map, built for earlier clashes and intense combat. Based on player feedback, it cuts downtime with shorter travel times, refined borders, and fewer NPC distractions. And with a focus on coastal warfare, it’s the perfect playground for Marines.

Christmas Crates
Christmas Crates are a limited-time War Crate, available during the Silent Nightfall winter event, offering unit cards and rare rewards to boost your war machine.
Possible drops include the new Marines Unit Card, plus Atomic Bombers/Atomic Rockets and Flame Tanks.
Get them with Gold in the shop, or earn them through Operations and rewarded ads. Crates won in Operations and rewarded ads are sent to your inventory, and can be opened even after the Silent Nightfall event has wrapped up.

Use the remaining days to build your war chest - collect Christmas Crates, reinforce your roster, and get your bearings by joining a game on Smallworld before the blizzard turns every coastline into a battlefield.
