Some wars are won by firepower. This one is won by friendship.

In Love and War, we’re taking Valentine's spirit to the frontlines - where trust and teamwork matter more than ever. Introducing Call of War’s newest map: Love and War!
Set in the Pacific Theater, this map is built for coordinated squads and competitive alliance showdowns. It's a “slow burn” opening from opposite ends of the ocean, followed by intense clashes over the islands and sea lanes that connect everything.

Same Map - Two Speeds

Whether you want the classic campaign feel or a weekend war with your best comrades, the map launches in two versions:

  • Love and War
    • Regular 1x Speed
    • Get the full strategic experience
  • Love and War: Ablaze
    • High pace 8x Speed
    • High-tempo teamwork
    • Ideal so you and your friends can finish a full conflict in a single weekend

Both variations will become available with the launch of the Love and War event on February 12th! Read more about the Love and War event in our previous news here!

New Map - New Rules

This map was designed to prove a simple Valentine’s truth: the strongest bond wins the war. You’ll have everything you need to strike fast and hard. But without coordination, your team’s strengths won’t connect.

  • Gamemode: Two teams of five players
  • Starting positions:
    • Team North in China
    • Team South in Australia
  • Unique starting units:
    • Asymmetric team roles balanced to reward team coordination
    • Per team: One Naval, two Air and two Artillery focused starting nations
    • Every player starts with Marines and Amphibious tanks to allow fast-paced, early expansion
  • Special victory points:
    • No Victory points in provinces close to the team’s starting positions
    • High Victory points in the contested central area of the map - controlling the islands in Southeast Asia wins the game!
  • Gamespeed:
    • Love and War - 1x speed
    • Love and War: Ablaze - 8x speed

The middle of the map will be hotly contested, and as the conflict escalates, the fleets that secure the sea lanes will decide who gets reinforcements… and who gets left behind.

Final Notes

Grab your best friends and conquer the Pacific, starting February 12th! Love and War will be available for play until the event concludes on the 10th of March.
Sign-ups for Love and War: Ablaze will be more limited, so make sure you don’t miss out.
