Underworld Protocol - Mid Season Update

The battlefield continues to evolve, and our Mid-Season Update brings a host of new content and improvements. This update introduces a brand new Officer, the new Air Defense Platform, Shadow Exchange trade rerolls, and new missions to help you master the latest additions.

Introducing Reaper – The Shadow Above the Battlefield

War evolves, strategies adapt and now, a new threat enters the skies. Meet Edward Harris, known across military intelligence circles by his feared callsign - Reaper. A master of strategic bombing campaigns and aerial devastation, Reaper transforms Heavy Bombers into relentless instruments of destruction while opening entirely new naval hunting possibilities for commanders willing to dominate the skies.

Reaper is a Rare Heavy Bomber Officer specializing in devastating strategic strikes and late game anti sea warfare.

Initially designed to amplify the destructive power and survivability of:

Heavy Bombers
Stealth Bombers
Elite Bombers
Naval Patrol Aircraft

Reaper evolves into something far more dangerous at higher levels.

Once fully developed, he becomes a nightmare for exposed fleets, punishing poorly protected naval formations and hunting submarines with ruthless efficiency.

Air Defense Platform

The Air Defense Platform is a new low-cost defensive unit designed to strengthen your air defenses without replacing the specialized roles of SAMs or Mobile AA. It provides reliable local anti-air coverage with strong attack range, making it a solid choice for protecting cities, strategic chokepoints, and frontline positions.

Early on, the Air Defense Platform is most effective against aircraft, and as it upgrades, it also becomes capable of countering helicopters.

Quick and cost-efficient deployment
Strong attack range for its cost

The Air Defense Platform research is also tied to the Mobile AA research path, allowing players to integrate it easily into existing army compositions and strategies.

New Missions

To help get familiar with the new Air Defense Platform, we've added a dedicated set of missions. These missions will guide players through the unit's capabilities, deployment options, and battlefield applications, making it easier to incorporate the Air Defense Platform into your defensive strategies.

Shadow Exchange

The Trade system has been revamped to better align with match progression. Trade offers are now generated based on the current stage of the game, ensuring that the resources offered remain relevant throughout the match.

With the new system, trade offers scale dynamically as the match progresses. Early game trades focus on resources and quantities appropriate for the opening stages, while mid and late game trades provide increasingly valuable and larger scale offers. This progression based scaling creates more meaningful trade decisions, and ensures that trade offers remain useful and competitive at every stage of the game.

Trade Rerolls

The Shadow Exchange is receiving a valuable improvement.

If the available trade offers aren't what you're looking for, you can now use Gold to reroll and refresh the entire set of generated offers. Trade rerolls are influenced by the current phase of the match. Available trade options will be appropriate to the early, mid, or late-game state when the reroll is requested.
