“No hero fights alone—and no imbalance lasts forever.”
The tides of war are shifting. On October 14th, 2025, we will deploy a crucial Hero Balance Update designed to refine battlefield dynamics, reward strategic deployment, and bring more heroes into relevance earlier in the campaign.
With this initiative, we aim to:
Let us walk through the changes—some heroes will ascend, others must be reined in.

“Fortify the earth. Command the line.”
Johan’s entrenchments were underwhelming—costly, slow, and outperformed by static forts. This overhaul turns him into a true defensive cornerstone: faster, cheaper, and stronger. Combine him with fortifications, and your lines may never break again.
What’s Changed:
He is no longer a gimmick—he is your frontline.

“Advance if you must. But know—I do not yield.”
Previously limited by a late arrival and awkward scaling, Joffre now stands ready earlier, with stronger defenses tailored to infantry and armored car formations.
What’s Changed:

“Silent, submerged, and now unshakable.”
Otto felt outclassed—even by the submarines he was meant to lead. This rebalance gives him parity in resilience, making his self-buffs finally matter.
What’s Changed:

“Light tanks—faster, tougher, meaner.”
Marco's niche as a light tank specialist wasn’t paying off. These small but significant boosts now give him a firmer identity and battlefield role.
What’s Changed:

“The plan waits for no one.”
A two-day wait before Pershing could take action proved too limiting. He now mobilizes in half the time, giving commanders access to his powerful leadership sooner.
What’s Changed:

“You can wall off a bullet—but not the breath of death.”
Lucien’s toxic arsenal was being too easily neutralized by fortifications, blunting his ability to instill fear and devastation. With this adjustment, his gas clouds now seep through even the thickest defenses, restoring his role as a merciless breaker of static lines.
What’s Changed:
This change reinforces Lucien’s identity as a villainous force of attrition and horror, unbound by walls, rules, or conscience.
Some legendary heroes were simply too weak upon deployment. These tuning changes shift more power into early levels without affecting their peak.

“If they want this land, let them bleed for every step.”
Tatiana is a late-game monster—but too many commanders benched her at lower levels due to her unimpressive base damage and slow scaling. These changes push her closer to the front from the start, with improved early lethality and quicker access to her core identity: absorbing pain and dishing it back tenfold.

“They’ll never hear the first shell. Or the last.”
Bruchmüller is a devastating artillery commander—eventually. However, his early performance was too modest to warrant deployment over more generalist options. By frontloading his damage and mobility, we’ve made him a viable pick right from the first barrage. Expect sharper impact, tighter strikes, and more value per shot.

“The ocean is vast. But under Togo, every wave carries fire.”
Togo’s endgame was strong, but his early presence was too fragile to justify investment. These boosts bring him online sooner, ensuring your fleets gain meaningful resilience and lethality without needing max-level commitment. With these changes, naval dominance doesn’t need to wait for Day 20.

“Inspiration is powerful. But unchecked? Overwhelming.”
Maeve has dominated the early game with lightning-fast deployment, low costs, and minimal downsides. This rebalancing demands deliberate timing and resource planning for her to shine.
What’s Changed:
She remains a potent rallying force—but now requires strategy, not spam.
Launching alongside the balance update is a new limited-time campaign: a reward track focused on previously released heroes. Whether you’ve yet to unlock them or are eager to level up your existing ranks, this campaign provides the Hero Medals you need to enlist or advance these battlefield veterans.
Don’t miss this opportunity to bring long-awaited commanders into active duty—or push trusted ones to their full potential.
More details on The Hero Battle Pass will follow in a dedicated communique.
These changes go live on October 14th, 2025.
Commanders, this is your opportunity to rethink, recalibrate, and rise anew. The old order is changing—and the battlefield will remember those who adapted.
See you at the front, General.
