Once deployed only in limited numbers through special Unit Cards, the Stormtrooper unit now steps into its full potential. For the first time, Generals can unlock and field these elite assault troops across any campaign, a permanent addition to your war machine.
Built for shock tactics and deadly precision, Stormtroopers excel at rooting out entrenched defenders and turning hardened positions into shattered ruins. With the right support, they’ll punch through where others falter.
Who Are the Stormtroopers?
Stormtroopers are elite infantry trained to assault enemy troops protected by fortifications. Their signature advantage is this: they completely ignore the Fortification Defense Bonus.
While most units lose up to 90% of their damage output when attacking fortified enemies, Stormtroopers suffer no such penalty. They deal 100% of their attack damage, no matter how thick the walls or how high the fort level.
Their primary role is to eliminate enemy units inside forts. While they also have stronger building damage than other early-game infantry, structure demolition is a secondary effect - not their purpose.
Note: Stormtroopers do not receive bonuses against trenches or dug-in units outside of fortifications.
Tactical Role
- Demolition Assaults - Ignore enemy fort bonuses and strike fortified troops at full power
- Frontline Disruption - Clear garrisons to open the way for your main force
- Elite Shock Support - Perform best when deployed alongside standard infantry formations
**Note:*Stormtroopers do not receive combat bonuses against enemy trench lines. Their siege strength applies only to fortification structures.

How to Unlock Stormtroopers
The Stormtrooper unit is a powerful addition to your military roster. To access it, players must first unlock the unit through one of the following exclusive methods:
1. Stormtrooper Regiment Pass
Progress through the Stormtrooper Regiment Pass to unlock the Stormtrooper as a premium milestone reward. Once earned, you gain permanent access to produce the unit across all future games.
2. Direct Shop Unlock
With the Stormtrooper Regiment Pass, a standalone Shop option will become available. This one-time offer provides another opportunity to gain access, especially for players who may have joined later or missed the campaign.
Note: The Stormtrooper Regiment Pass and Shop will be the only ways to unlock the unit for now.
Future Availability
Additional paths to unlock the unit are planned for the future. These options are still under development and will be shared in due course.
Ways to Deploy Stormtroopers
Once unlocked, you can begin producing Stormtroopers in any match using the required resources. There are also additional ways to bring them into play:
- Alvin York Hero Deployment
When deploying Sergeant Alvin York, Stormtroopers accompany him as part of his bodyguard. He also boosts their combat power and survivability, making him an ideal commander for aggressive pushes. - Unit Cards
Shop offers may include Stormtrooper Unit Cards, allowing deployment without the need to build them manually.
Sergeant Alvin York – Lead the Charge
Stormtroopers arrive alongside a legend. Sergeant Alvin York, the decorated hero of the Argonne, joins the battlefield with:
- Bonus Damage and Hitpoints for all Stormtroopers under his command
- Stormtroopers included when he is deployed
- Unlockable through Hero Medals in the Battle Pass and Shop offers
